How to Extract Flipkart E-Kart Labels from PDF

Flipkart seller PDFs include the E-Kart shipping label in the top half and a full tax invoice in the bottom half. Printing the whole page wastes paper and makes labels harder to attach to packages. Here's how to get just the label in seconds.

Understanding the Flipkart PDF Format

Flipkart's logistics partner E-Kart formats shipping PDFs with two distinct sections on every page:

Shipping label — delivery address, AWB number, barcode, E-Kart branding
"NOT FOR RESALE" separator — a printed line dividing the two sections
Tax invoice — seller GSTIN, item details, pricing, amounts in words

The separator line is a compliance marker indicating where the customer-facing portion ends. For shipping purposes, you only need the label above this line.

Why You Shouldn't Print the Full Page

Printing the full Flipkart PDF wastes half a page of paper on every shipment. For a seller processing 30–50 orders a day, that's 15–25 extra pages per day. More practically, the invoice section is sensitive — it shows your pricing, margins, and GSTIN details — and you generally don't want it visible on the outside of the package.
